Staging near the northern boundary of Olympic National Park at the Emerald Valley Inn, nestled in the lush evergreen valleys west of Port Angeles, Washington.

Enjoyed fantastic local cuisine in the area, starting with breakfast at Granny's Cafe on the inn's property, exploring the town of Port Angeles with a bite at Lola's Cafe, and winding down with flavorful takeout from Great Indian Cuisine. The mist hanging low over the Olympic Mountains made for an atmospheric Pacific Northwest evening.
