Traveled west across central Washington State today through the high desert of the Columbia Basin.

Driving past the dramatic coulees and carved basalt canyons formed during the ancient Ice Age Missoula Floods, we made our way into Ephrata, Washington. Stayed at the Best Western in Ephrata for the evening, resting up before crossing over the Cascade Mountains toward the Puget Sound.
